Members receive four free printed newsletters per year, plus regular digital news bulletins, giving you very latest updates on local issues and upcoming events in Isleworth. We also use our newsletter to publicise the work of other local community groups.
We arrange regular events to bring the community together such as an Isleworth Community Quiz, Our Isleworth Community Photo Competition and Isleworth Environment Summit and talks on topics of local interest - both current and historical. For example on the ‘Lost Pubs of Isleworth’.
The Isleworth Society is interested in the geography, history, architecture and natural history of the area and works to preserve, protect and improve local features in Isleworth. For example, we secured funding for the restoration of Isleworth War Memorial, the Pedestrian Pillar/ gates at Park Road Cemetery and have successfully applied for the Town Wharf to be listed as an Asset of Community Value (protecting its future use).
