November 2024 saw The Isleworth Society host a well-attended evening at Isleworth Public Hall, entitled “How To Have Your Say on Planning and Conservation Issues in Isleworth” at a time when Hounslow’s Local Plan was out for consultation.
Based on input received from Members, the Isleworth Society submitted a response to the Local Plan Consultation (see below) in particular highlighting that detailed housing targets across the Borough are not balanced by equivalent commitments to commensurate
investment in areas such as local transport, access to green space and allotment provision.
Other examples for TIS engagement on local planning consultations include:

A new planning application for Charlotte House, Snowy Fielder Waye, Isleworth is expected in late September. Anne Jackson, from the TIS Committee, attended the recent exhibition and consultation on its proposed development in July.
The new home will only have eight extra beds but all the rooms will be larger with their own en suite wet room. (64 as opposed to 56). All bedrooms will be on floors 1 to 3.
There would be lots more circulation areas for residents. The proposed new building would be four storeys but only four metres higher than the current building with a flat roof rather than a pitched roof.
There would be a few more parking spaces at the home following the redevelopment.
